FOREWORD BY THAMO NAIDOO
I first met James Mbugua nearly 9 years ago. Over this course of time I have been introduced to his brilliant mind as well as his deep passion for God’s word. James has embraced this Apostolic message with acuity and purpose and a heightened sense of what God is saying to His Church, particularly at this critical juncture in reformation history. To the extent that he has assimilated these principles received and applied them to his calling, James has been at the forefront of a pioneering people who embraced the challenge to bring about change uncharacteristic to the African landscape and its traditional religious mindsets.
It is fitting then that James should introduce this profound perspective of the Kingdom of God. In order to fully comprehend the magnitude of the Kingdom of God and the prerequisites for its establishment in the earth requires understanding of the divine design of the Church as the workmanship of Christ. The Kingdom cannot be construed by the definition of earthly kingdoms, for it is subject to the collaboration of its subjects (the Church) who are required to be compliant with the heavenly (biblical) standards of righteousness.
In the Old Testament we study the patterns for the construction and function of the church. In the New Testament we see how the design becomes an organic and functional organism that operates in its respective territorial jurisdictions in accordance with the divine design.
Rule emanates from knowing ones position and function in the family of God – the Kingdom of God is given to the sons of God.
This book promises to capture your spirit and increase your capacity to desire revelation of the prophetic destiny of the Kingdom of God, which is the restoration and reconstitution of all things (Acts 3:17-16), and rediscover its global mandate to dominate the nations with the nature and person of Christ (Matthew 28:16-20).
