We have seen some individuals selling this exact copy and stating that it is a FIRST Book Club Edition. Despite our best effort and extensive research, we simply do not have enough verifiable information to determine if this is a First BCE or simply a BCE. For this reason, we are selling this copy only as a BCE. Once again, we cannot say for certain if this is a FIRST BCE so we must assume it is simply a BCE. I know it should go without saying, but please remember this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing! Once again, this is a Book Club Edition, NOT a First Edition/First Printing. This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with creases/scuffing/wear to the spine/corners/boards, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/wear to some of the pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, and the wear that is present on the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages! All of the wear previously mentioned is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original dust jacket is fully intact. Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, scratches, marks and rips. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.
